We’re a friendly group who simply like getting together and walking.
All ages, all abilities, everyone is welcome.

Why you should go walking?

A regular brisk walk will improve the performance of your heart, lungs and circulation. Lower your blood pressure and reduce the risks of many illnesses. 
 
What’s more, it’s enjoyable!
 
Getting out in the great outdoors is a wonderful tonic for everyone. Sometimes you just need an excuse to do it, or better still a group of like minded people to do it with.

About our walks

We want everyone to enjoy our walks and to enhance their fitness.  In order to do this it is recommended that when walking your breathing should become a little faster, but you should still feel comfortable and very importantly, still able to talk with other walkers!
All our walks usually end near to a cafe or other ‘watering hole’ where we can relax and have a drink and a chat to unwind.
 
In addition to walking we do have some social events during the year.  Some of these will be to have picnics  when we all bring food and drink to share together (bring your own seats!).  We have a ‘seal walk’ to visit the newborn seal pups – cameras at the ready!  Usually we have a Christmas Lunch at a nearby venue when all attending have a very good time.

New Walks

We are always looking for new walks keeping within a radius of 15 miles from Great Yarmouth.  It is preferable they have spacing available for car parking and should be circular in route.  If there is a walk known to you which we do not currently use please tell us and we will investigate further.  Many thanks.
